DOUGLAS S. BROWN, CAIA, CBC, CDIA, CVIA
As a Coach, Consultant and Facilitator, Doug Brown has facilitated successful outcomes for executives in the NY/Northern NJ region for over three decades. His extensive client base encompasses over 50 different industries and cross the for-profit, nonprofit and governmental sectors.
Doug is the Chairman and CEO of Paradigm Associates LLC, a company he founded in 1985, and is now represented by professionals in multiple states across the US.
He was a columnist for American Executive magazine whose readership was C-Suite executives running organizations of $50 million and up. In addition, Doug has appeared on television and radio, and is a speaker at national and international conferences. His personal clients are executives, managers and business development professionals throughout North America, Europe, Brazil and South Africa.
A believer in continuous improvement, Doug has received Certifications as a Business Coach, Total Quality Institute (TQI) Facilitator, and Analyst for the Attribute, DISC, and Values Indexes.
At Procter & Gamble and other manufacturing companies, Doug managed both line and staff. While at the University of Delaware, he was elected to campus-wide, regional, and national offices, was an Intern in the U.S. Senate, and received an Undergraduate Research Grant to study Leadership Styles vs. Group Behavior. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Business & Economics and Philosophy.
Doug primarily operates in the NY/NJ Metro Area.
When not working, Doug is an active member of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He performs with the Hell’s Kitchen NY Chapter, also known as the Voices of Gotham, is President of the Atlantic Harmony Brigade, served on the Mid-Atlantic Board of Directors, is a Hall of Honor recipient, and sat on the international Board of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
Doug remains active in the community of Cranford where he resides with his wife, Jill. They have two adult sons. In his local parish he serves as both a Cantor and Lector. He has coached youth soccer, and served as Chairman of the Cranford, NJ Citizens Budget & Planning Advisory Committee. He is a past president and board member of a non-profit, charitable, educational organization. He has served as the Co-Chairman of the Gateway Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council as well as a member of the Education Committee. He is an active member of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber of Commerce and facilitated its strategic planning initiative. In New York City, Doug is active in the New York Society of Association Executives, and was honored as Outstanding Associate Member in 2017
